All About the Back

One of our favourite wedding dress trends of the moment is the keyhole statement back. It is a great style for brides wanting to make a statement as they walk up the aisle and flatters any shape or size whilst holding the structure of the gown in all the right places and supporting the bust – something a strapless or backless dress may lack. A keyhole back helps you to show some skin and be daring without the problems of gaping or flapping material or having to pull up and adject the gown at the bust.

Let’s have a look at some of this season’s keyhole back styles…

Bree, style 12104 is a fun and flirty fit and flare gowns made of crepe with a high halter neckline. To the back we have a small keyhole cut-out at the lower back and thin crossover straps at the upper back, bridal covered buttons complete the look. We love this non fussy gown for small and intimate weddings and would be a perfect gown for statement earrings.

Blaire, style 2301 is another fit and flare silhouetted gown this time made of net intrinsically detailed with pearl and crystal beading and embroidered appliques for a textured look. It has spaghetti straps, a low v neckline and sheer panels to the waist. The back features crossover sheer straps, a large open keyhole back and again the look is completed with bridal covered buttons.

For a totally different look let us introduce you to Analiese, style 2187, our delicate and floaty A-line tulle wedding dress featuring frosted Alencon lace appliques, pearl and crystal beading and a halter neckline. The slight peekaboo cut outs to the bust are mirrors on the back of the bodice with small keyhole cut-outs. We love that this dress has a whimsical boho feel and is easy to wear for a relaxed bride.

Another amazing A-line is Blossom, style 2307. A fresh and feminine gown with crystal beading, frosted floral embroidery on net over glitter net for a touch of glam. A structured bodice with a deep plunge has a keyhole lower back cut-out and detachable off the shoulder sleeves with a sheer train to complete the look. We are enjoying seeing photos of brides removing the sleeves after the ceremony and photos for a more relaxed party look in the evening.

We hope you love these gowns as much as we do. For more bridal inspiration and trends keep an eye on our blog and follow us over on our Instagram.
